The Lazy Blogger: Photo Dump

My poor blog book this year. I fear that it's going to be small!
Although I haven't been amazing at posting this year (moving and having a baby will do that to you!) I do still want to include all our pictures in our book!
This post could also be entitled: Life via Instagram
because most of these pictures made their debut on there. If they did I'll just post the caption that went along with it.

"Mom, can I have my doodle?" She likes to practice her letters on there: o, t, and p.
(August)
We love it when Brody's awake!!
(around 2 weeks old)
Snuggles.
(2-3 weeks old)
Tummy time
And with big sister- who looks ginormous!!!

{I don't think this one made it onto instagram. But it's hilarious! She put Colin's swimsuit on one day!}
This was the day of her birthday party.
Love
(September 6)
My view! I may not be getting anything accomplished but I'm pretty OK with it! ;)
{I sent this to our neighbor because they got him this onesie)
Brody mustache you a question!
(mid-September)
This girl and her outfits!!!
Josh and Cooper came to visit in September! We had so much fun playing with our cute cousin!!
I was trying to hard to get a smile pic!

We also attempted to get a picture with all the grand kids together...this is pretty much as good as it got :)

Got my plant shelf in my room all decorated! Ryan doesn't understand why there needs to be decorations up there...I love them!
CFA Frozen in the Park at the end of September. It was so much fun! We met my parents there, took blankets and lawn chairs, got some food. Watching Frozen with all the kids was adorable! They all sang the songs, Peyton danced around. And she got to meet Anna and Elsa!
Soccer fun!
Forever trying to capture his smile!
Such a big bed for a little boy ;)
(Beginning of October)
I made Ryan hang some things up for me!!
Love decorating!
It's a good morning for a 5K! Bergheger Hero Run.
(1st weekend in October. Brody looked like Randy from A Christmas Story! But that boy stayed warm!)
Ryan and Peyton took a ride in Daddy's big truck!
Mom, how dare you put me down when I'm awake! #snugglebuddies #madasahornet
(Sometimes us moms have to pee, you know?!)
Hey mustache...missed this little dude when I was at work today. And the other two, but then they both started fighting non-stop and I wondered why I don't work more often ;)
(First day back to work after Brody was born. I had to get 8 more days in before the end of the year so I decided to go back a little earlier than I'd planned in order to just do 1 day a week. That will allow me to finish before Christmas. It's worked out pretty well!)
Look at that smushy face! I love him! PS- he slept all night again last night!
(2nd-ish week of October)
She discovered the jewelry section at Target today...she said "wow!"
He is the sweetest!
Why do vacations have to go by so fast? Love having Ryan's mom here!
(October 13th)

Fun day at the circus! Peyton fell asleep but told me she liked it after and Colin wants to be a circus performer when he grows up!
Whew! I feel better now! I'll probably have to do another lazy blogger post to catch up the new pictures on my phone!

All Things Halloween

There was a time a few years ago where I had all my fall/Halloween decorations out by mid-September.
Either I've gotten really lazy or my hatred for clutter has dissuaded me from decorating for the past couple years. (Don't get me wrong, I hate clutter but my house is constantly messy. Which is probably why I've shied away from getting more stuff out. I can't handle it!)

As a result, our Halloween festivities were pretty minimalistic this year!
Ryan's mom came the 2nd weekend in October and I had grand plans of going to the pumpkin patch and enjoying the beautiful fall weather. It rained the ENTIRE time she was here! No joke!
Every weekend after that either involved us being sick or busy with other things so the family pumpkin patch trip didn't happen.

Luckily, Colin's class was taking a field trip to Eckert's and I got to tag along!
It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun hanging out together! Colin was allowed to pick his very own pumpkin out and I went ahead and bought a bigger one for us to carve.

We did our carving last week. Colin designed his and I decided I wanted one with a mustache. We also roasted our pumpkin seeds. Colin was so dedicated to that task! They'd done it at school last year and he was so excited! He pulled a bunch of seeds out of the guts and washed them off. They were delicious! We'll definitely have to keep that tradition going.

I found this bat hat at Target last week and couldn't resist it!
Halloween night was freezing! I made chili, corn bread, and dirt and worms. My parents came over for dinner then stayed home with Brody to pass out candy while we took the older two out. We didn't last very long. After the first four houses we had to stop back home to get Peyton a coat. We went back out for a little bit. The kids didn't seem to mind that we didn't get very far. By the time we got home they were ready to get inside and warm up!

Colin was a white ninja, Peyton was a princess, and Brody was Robin.
{Peyton even let me put a couple braids in her hair! She kept saying it looked like Anna from Frozen. When I was braiding the second side she was feeling around for the first braid and was like "Where is it? Ohhh, there it is!" I also decided to put some eye makeup on her. I thought she'd love it because she's obsessed with lipstick. It was so much fun and she was so cute while we were putting it on. Of course, she'd smeared the mascara by rubbing her eyes before we even put her costume on. Oh well!}

His mask is my favorite part!

Onto November.
Holy Moly!
